First Year B.E.
- A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) of the Tamil Nadu State Board or an equivalent examination, with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- Minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as prescribed by AICTE and the Government of Tamil Nadu for the year of admission (relaxation for reserved categories as per Government rules).
- Admission under the Government quota is through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) single-window counselling – choose college code 5537.
Lateral Entry (Second Year B.E.)
- Diploma in Engineering / Technology in the relevant branch from a recognised board, or a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as prescribed.
- Admission through the Tamil Nadu Lateral Entry (TNLEA) counselling conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
The eligibility norms notified by Anna University, AICTE and the Government of Tamil Nadu for the current year are final. Contact the admission office for clarification.
Admissions to B.E. programmes are through TNEA single-window counselling. Use counselling code 5537 to choose Jainee College of Engineering and Technology.
