Prof. K. Thilagavathi, Founder and Chairman of the Jainee Group of Institutions and the Jainee Health and Educational Charitable Trust, is a committed educationist with a clear vision for social development through education. She believes that health and education are the two vital pillars that shape a strong and progressive society.
Under her leadership the Jainee group has grown, since 2006, into a family of institutions offering engineering, nursing, allied health, pharmacy and teacher education to students from Dindigul and the surrounding districts. Jainee College of Engineering and Technology was started in 2013 to bring quality technical education within reach of rural and first-generation learners.
She emphasises academic excellence, discipline and ethical values, and encourages innovation and continuous learning. Modern infrastructure and qualified faculty support effective teaching, and her vision continues to guide the long-term growth of the institution.
